The province is made up of the island of Newfoundland and the mainland region of Labrador. Minimum wage in Newfoundland and Labrador
The minimum wage has been $16.35 an hour since 1 April 2026, and the minimum overtime rate is $24.53 an hour, according to a Government of Newfoundland and Labrador announcement.
